Educare Model

Our comprehensive program incorporates everything science says young children need to flourish.

Our four core features work together in a comprehensive and intentional way to achieve a high-quality early childhood program that helps children from birth to age 5 grow up safe, healthy and eager to learn. Educare prepares children for success in school and life, and helps parents develop the skills they need.

Educare Model Framework

Educare Model Framework

Data Utilization

Educare uses both internal and external research and evaluation to continuously improve program practices and inform policy development. This includes reviewing the latest knowledge about children and families, assessing how new findings shape high-quality early childhood programming, and analyzing how changes impact child and family outcomes.

Intensive Family Engagement

Educare places a strong focus on building strong, supportive relationships with families. This includes targeted family support services, culturally responsive communication, and partnerships that help parents develop the skills to champion their child’s education. Family engagement specialists work closely with families to address needs and strengthen home–school connections.

High-Quality Teaching Practices

The model emphasizes consistent, outcome-based classroom environments that promote strong emotional foundations, cognitive development, and social skills. Educare classrooms are structured to be predictable, supportive, and engaging, with well-qualified staff and appropriate child-to-teacher ratios.

Embedded Professional Development

Teachers and staff receive ongoing, integrated training that is embedded into daily practice. This professional development is designed to strengthen teaching skills, align with research-based practices, and support the implementation of the Educare model across all program areas.
